Sierra View Country Club: Roseville, California
This private country club, constructed in the 1950’s, has embarked on a capital improvement program to remodel and enhance the golfing and club facilities over the next 5 to 10 years.
1 5th Hole - par 3, 145 yards, as seen prior to remodel. Goal is to remodel a 1950's style push-up green with agronomic problems due to lack of adequate drainage. Remove concrete water feature on the right. Feb, 2004
2 5th Hole - par 3, 145 yards: view from the tees. Remodel & redesign of green complex with new bunkers and green to USGA Standards; rough grading stage - April, 2004
3 5th Hole finish shaping of remodel of green complex to USGA standards. Ready for sodding. Sod from former green saved and relaid on new green to maitain consistency of green sod throughout the course. May, 2004
4 6th tee finish grading ready for sodding. Installed drainage and added 6 inch sand cap for teeing surface. Remodeled into a 4 tee box configuration for playability of club members; relocated tee boxes to accentuate dogleg left aspect of the 6th hole. May, 2004
